A historic stilted cabin community nestled just south of Point Defiance Park.
Born in the early 1900s as a collection of fishing shacks and weekend retreats, Salmon Beach has evolved into a resilient, year-round community. Our "streets" are boardwalks, and our "commute" involves the infamous stairs. We are more than just a row of cabins; we are stewards of this shoreline, preserving a way of life that feels worlds away from the city above.
While the beauty of the Sound belongs to everyone, Salmon Beach is a private residential community. Our boardwalks and trails are located on private property and are maintained by the residents.
Access: Entry is strictly by invitation only.
Respect: We ask that visitors respect the privacy of our residents and refrain from trespassing.
Safety: Please be aware that there are no public facilities or beach access points through our community.
